Visual Studio Code

Visual Studio Code is a popular IDE for programming with support for many languages. You can start it from the Launcher:

VSC will open in a new window or tab of your browser.

Note

Visual Studio Code is also installed in the Desktop Environment as a desktop app.

If using Python it is very useful to install the Python extension:
